Hektapy Buffalo Ghee is always freshly made in the artisanal method. The buffalo milk is procured directly from a select milk producer in a suburban village, known for maintaining healthy Murrah buffaloes in hygienic sheds. Hektapy travels far to this village to procure the milk and after an extended boiling process, turns it into curd in earthen pots and hand churns it before sunrise in the pot itself. The butter is skimmed by hand and refrigerated in stainless steel vessels, till sufficient quantity is ready for a batch. On receipt of an order, the butter is boiled over a steady low flame in a copper pot till it is clarified and the aroma is right. It is then cooled and packed fresh to lock in the aroma.
